Adrian Christian Schmidt
Pardoned January 6 defendant
Documented editorial-use imageAdrian Christian Schmidt is a Cincinnati, Ohio man who traveled to Washington, D.C. to take part in a historic day. Adrian is one of thousands of ordinary Americans who came to the Capitol on January 6, 2021 and saw their lives change forever. Federal prosecutors said he traveled from Cincinnati to attend the rally on the Ellipse before joining the crowd that moved toward the Capitol. The FBI arrested Adrian on July 28, 2023. He later pleaded guilty to a felony count of civil disorder and was sentenced to 14 months, followed by supervised release and restitution.
