Christopher Kuehne is a decorated U.S. Marine Corps combat veteran from Olathe, Kansas. Before anyone knew his name from a court docket, he wore this country's uniform in combat — Kansas City press described him plainly as a "decorated Marine vet" (Kansas City Star). FACT: Christopher Kuehne was arrested February 11, 2021 and originally charged with multiple felonies. He ultimately pleaded guilty in September 2023 to one count: obstruction of law enforcement during a civil disorder (KSHB). FACT: In February 2024 he was sentenced to 75 days, with 24 months of supervised release including 60 days of home detention, and $2,000 restitution (Kansas City Star). FACT: On January 20, 2025, President Trump's proclamation granted a full pardon covering January 6 convictions — Kansas outlets KCUR and KMUW listed Kuehne among the Kansans covered. A Marine who served his country, took responsibility in court, served his 75 days, and walked out with a full pardon. Christopher Kuehne's service came first, and it still counts.
