Christy Clark is a Lewistown, Pennsylvania woman who traveled to Washington, D.C. with her husband, Matthew, on January 6, 2021. FACT: Clark was arrested on February 10, 2021. She pleaded not guilty at arraignment, then changed course and pleaded guilty on May 31, 2022, to one count of parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building. She was sentenced on October 28, 2022, to 24 months of probation, 60 hours of community service, and $500 in restitution. None of her charges involved allegations of assault or violence.
