FACT: On January 6, 2021 he entered the Capitol for roughly ten minutes — through the Upper West Terrace door, into the Rotunda, through Statuary Hall, and back out. He was later charged with obstruction and misdemeanor counts. NEEDS AUTHENTICATION / ongoing: Wilson's road did not end with the pardon. A separate federal firearms matter — not part of the January 6 clemency — kept him in the court system, and his release became the subject of dispute.
